Jo Dee Messina

Hello everyone!  (And I mean BOTH of you - lol.  I'm kidding, I know there are three of you.)

Some of you who contacted Curb may have received an email (form letter) from Mr. Stuart Dill, Jo Dee's personal manager.  I was kinda impressed I must say.  I never thought I would hear from anyone.  It was nice to get a response.  Below is the email I received......

This is Stuart Dill, Jo Dee Messina�s personal manager.  Thanks for being such a big supporter of Jo Dee.  Just so you know � the information about Curb holding her release is incorrect.  Jo Dee, Curb and I are all in agreement that we need to wait and release the new album as soon as we have a national chart hitting single on country radio.  We are all working hard to make that happen.

Well, I do thank Mr. Dill for his response but, with all do respect ......I will have to believe and stick with what Jo Dee told me.  (Hope he understands.)

Now I know we will have to wait until next year for another single.  Now is just not the best time to release a single (holidays coming up, etc.......not the best time to try to be on the charts).  This is something I was informed of by someone in the industry. 

I also realize that we will not see the album until there is a high charting single.  It's just not good for anyone if an album is released and no one (but the hard core fans like us) know it exists.  Let's face it, most people, even if they knew of it's release, would not go out and buy an album unless they were familiar with and liked a song on that album.

But, we will be watching...........come January 2nd.  We will be looking for that next single to drop soon after....  Rest assured, we will kindly remind Curb if needed.  We will not let Jo Dee fall through the cracks.
